Slip On

There is no denying my love for loafers, initially a man's customary footwear has conveniently taken over our shoe world having been featured on celebrities such as the Olsen twins, Poppy Delevingne, Miranda Kerr amongst many others. A simple, elegant slip on
(socks or no socks) that is conveniently offered in a variety of patterns, textures, colours and shapes to suit virtually any outfit.

Need I say more?!

All White

More and more are we seeing the head-to-toe all white trend, whether it is at the races, magazine shoots or bloggers - white is in!

So let's cover the complexities of wearing this trend - it cannot be worn around messy food, to weddings and it most definitely cannot be worn anywhere where your outfit could get dirty.. easy right! Evidently, like most of you, my biggest fear with wearing white is to get it dirty and have people notice. Thus if you are looking to sport this look I would suggest to wear it to a coffee, friend's house, cocktail event or even a day of shopping that way you can minimise your chances of getting splashed with unwanted substances.

Some pros of wearing all white include showing off your tan, looking fresh and clean, being able to add any accessory, standing out from the crowd and most importantly presenting confidence! (Because not everyone can pull it off!)

Below are a few outfit inspirations that might encourage you to try this trend after all!

LMFF

Friend of Mine Cadillac Blazer, Helmut Lang Skirt, Sportsgirl top & heels, Lovisa necklace, Samantha Wills ring, Yves Saint Laurent clutch

Last night I had the pleasure of attending the Loreal Melbourne Fashion Week alongside my bestie Eddie New to watch the independent designers' show. I love seeing the up and coming talents as they often have a fresh view of fashion and the looks are more urban than high fashion. Nonetheless, I find that the established brands' shows mainly consist of garments that are already available in stores and therefore do not offer anything new for people who are fashion trends aware. My favorite designers from the night were One Fell Swoofs and Strateas Carlucci.

As for my outfit, I decided to keep it elegant and wore this Friend of Mine blazer which I absolutely adore due to its differentiated length - It provides a slimmer appearance and is a true classic in my eyes! Helmut Lang skirts always do it for me in terms of edginess. Finally, I knew it would be a night where lots of walking around is required so i had to go comfortable and these Sportsgirl babies have never disappointed, looks and comfort wise!

Photos from the show will be up soon, until then here are a couple more shots of the outfit:

Casually Hanging..

Watson X Watson jacket, T by Alexander Wang tank, Friend of Mine pants, Asos beanie & cuff, Ray-Ban Sunglasses

My talented bestie, who by chance is a fashion photographer, Eddie New was kind enough to photograph me the other day at the Chadstone Shopping parking lot prior to shopping.

Cannot get enough of this jacket, its vividness ensures it is always a stand out piece. Nonetheless, it appeared to have perfectly matched my new mirrored Ray-Bans! Success!

Merely a few of the pieces we'll be seeing in the Rag & Bone's Resort 2013 collection.
Cannot contain my excitement!!

In Light of Winter

H&M coat, Sportsgirl top, Topshop jeans, Jeffery Campbell booties, Asos sunglasses

'Teddy' is my faux fur coat, he only likes to come out when its super cold (on a day like today, ahem Melbourne!). I love it 'cause I could be wearing a singlet underneath and feel just as warm as I would wearing a jumper!

In light of winter's approach to Melbourne here are some other fashionistas rocking this trend
