Keeping Warm

T by Alexander Wang top, Sportsgirl leggings & flats, Clare Vivier Clutch, Kookai scarf

Got to love snuggly day-wear such as this thick scarf from Kookai on a cold Melbourne day, a piece which never disappoints as it is not only great at keeping me warm but also compliments many other staples in my wardrobe.

It may seem surprising but I find that warm / cold wardrobe colour palettes impact the way you feel and therefore in winter I often choose to wear more vibrant lively colours as oppose to the blues and greens.

Overall this is a good way to up-do a casual outfit - replace your jersey leggings with leather or leather like material, put away the monotone flats and get some pattern / vivid coloured ones and add on a staple scarf and clutch whose colour can match various other colours in your wardrobe (my suggestion: either earthy or your blacks/whites/greys).

BLK WHT

Friend of Mine tank, Neon Hart skirt, Senso shoes, Asos cuff

An everyday outfit with a twist.
As you may have already realised I love printed tanks so it is no surprise that when I saw this Friend of Mine 'Mick Jagger' top I could not resist. The skirt is from General Pants' brand Neon Hart which consists of both suit pants material and leather with an imperfect cut and room for movement. As usual I am sporting my Clare Vivier clutch, Senso heels and Ray Bans - my true loves for accessories.

Today: Laid Back

David Rogers beanie, Ray Ban sunglasses, Sportsgirl sweater and booties, Kookai fur vest, Spell bag, Portmans pants, Samantha Wills ring

Due to my up and coming exams, I don't have much time to a) do much b) dress up. So today when I went with a friend for lunch I decided to go for a bit of a grunge / comfortable look..

We checked out the new 'IT' cafe in town, 'Hawk & Hunter', and were very pleased! Situated in Ripponlea - check it out if you get a chance!

Summer Days

Sportsgirl dress, Asos belt, Michael Kors watch, Ray Ban sunglasses

Great summer days don't come around too often in Melbourne, so i thought i'd take advantage and go for a stroll on Brighton beach. Decided to keep it simple with the outfit, casual yet with a hint of leopard and sleekness to the hair.

Hope all Melbournians have enjoyed today as much as i have! xx

Sportsgirl blazer & tank, Topshop jeans, Cotton On boots, Mimco bag, Samantha Wills ring, Supre belt, Witchery scarf

Decided to straighten my hair this morning (very rare for me) and pull a 'Kim Kardashian' with a blazer, jeans and boots. Just a little taste of sophistication.

Went for lunch with the bf to one of my favourite cafes - Las Chicas (203 Carlisle St, Balaclava, Melbourne). I have had the majority of their menu and let me tell you - it is all so delicious! (and many would agree, at times there is at least a 20 minute wait for a table - definitely worth it!)

I ♥ Fridays

Sportsgirl hat and jacket, Cotton On tights, Tony Bianco heels

Finally the weekend has arrived, and while it is only friday it's still my day off work. Thought i'd play around with this software i recently downloaded that polarizes images, using a few quick snaps my sister helped me with. Pretty cool hey?
I love these heels but rarely get to wear them - they are ridiculously high! I'm going to have to practice heel-walking daily in order to survive a full hour in these hehe.

Three Bags Full Vegie Breakfast

Other then snapping shots and having a rest, today i had introduced my boy to Three Bags Full where we had the most delicious breakfast, visiting that place is a must!
