Pattern Up

H&M dress, Asos checkered shirt, Elizabeth and James sunglasses, Whistles loafers

Mixing patterns is a new challenge of mine. This trend is easy to get right, very easy to get wrong.
I suggest to look out for a mutual colour that will collaborate the pieces, as well as adding a bit of monochrome (so black, white or both) to provide bait of consistency with what you would normally wear. As a beginner, you don't want to project something that is too 'out there crazy', at the end of the day you still want to project your own identity through the clothes.

Aztec prints, bohemian drapes and leather pants - what more could a girl want in her wardrobe?!
The latest collaboration of H&M and Isabel Marant is turning heads and receiving immense attention from bloggers, magazines and celebrities. Here are some of my favourite looks and pieces from the up and coming collection. If only I lived in Europe… sigh

Boho Chic

H&M jacket, Sportsgirl top, Rag & Bone jeans, Alexander Wang boots, Ray-Ban sunglasses

Bohemian prints never fail to make a statement (evidently, the Olsen duo tend to exhibit this trend on the streets of New York). Loving the construction of this H&M jacket, it has the shoulders of a blazer, front cut of a leather jacket and brightness of a Moroccan shawl, overall perfection!
