Vintage Cool

Sometimes dressing carelessly can come out looking vintage cool, especially when heading out to Melbourne's prominent coffee-lovers area of Ripponlea. In this part of town - mixing patterns is the aim of the game. Embrace the untidy with a plaid shirt, half tucked in, patterned loafers, a touch of confidence and voila!

Boyish

It could merely be that I have been closely following The Man Repeller blog or that I am preparing to style a men's editorial shoot, either way - I am certainly inspired to dress in a boyish manner today.
And really, what's not to love? The low crutch pants, flat loafers and cotton shirt attire is tailored perfectly to my needs today - a comfortable outfit I can run around in and yet remain professional looking with a touch of rebellion (hence the messy hair!).

Due to my up and coming exams, I don't have much time to a) do much b) dress up. So today when I went with a friend for lunch I decided to go for a bit of a grunge / comfortable look..

We checked out the new 'IT' cafe in town, 'Hawk & Hunter', and were very pleased! Situated in Ripponlea - check it out if you get a chance!

These few shots were taken a few days ago when Melbourne was blessed with some sun, and my friend Eddie and i decided to grab a coffee at one of our absolute favourite places that never gets old - The Wall, off Carlisle Street in Balaclava.
Very much inspired by miss Kling, love it how she can make the simplest outfits stand out effortlessly by either adding a chic pair of heels or a fabulous belt - she's one of those fashionstas who always gets it right!
Also sporting my new glasses, big step moving onto big ones (not to mention wearing them out!!) but i guess thats the way to go these days.

Stay fashionable everyone! Love xx

Was very satisfied with today's weather as it was beautiful - finally had the chance to take some photos outdoors. Went for a couple of walks today as well as coffee with Eddie to one of my favorite spots - 'The Wall', just off Carlisle Street in St Kilda. Their lattes are excellent and very quick, and i love the vibrant colors and just the overall atmosphere. Nevertheless it was lovely being able to sit outside on such a nice day (for a change!) :).

Took some shots of Eddie while he was shooting for his blog (as you can see he's a bit TC with his sunnies). If you guys haven't checked it out yet, it's worth a browse - Eddie's Eye
