Crystal White

Nothing beats the opportunity to wear all white, all night.

Relax Max

On my days off I tend to wear my most comfortable garments, natural and neutral colours and a single piece of jewellery to seal off the look. I am obsessed with Zara skirts these days, they have such a diverse range of designs and materials that simply goes along with anything. The Country Road knit collection are my go to in terms of classic, good quality winter snuggles.

Remember: looks does not always have to be compromised by comfort.

Soft Elegance

Zara February Lookbook

Time and time again, Zara's lookbooks make me wish I lived in Europe. The neutral colours, strong aesthetic and subtle hint of elegance put into everyday wear, ah!

Keeping my fingers crossed Zara will be extending its range to more of its european collection.

Hint Hint

Zara top, Oneteaspoon shorts, Senso heels, Alexander Wang clutch, Lovisa bracelet

This is what I wore to a friend's barbecue over the weekend. Simple and chic.
Contradictory to the 'All Black' post, I actually enjoy seeing a hint of colour in an all black outfit. Whether it is an accessory or a garment of clothing, you know - to break it up a little and make it visually intriguing.

You cannot go wrong with a designer clutch and a cute pair of heels, they add that bit of edge to an otherwise casual outfit.

Tarzan Chic

T by Alexander Wang tee, Friend of Mine Skirt, Sportsgirl sandals, Kookai fedora, Zara belt, Asos cuff

Light weight. Silk. Breezy. Embellished. Western influence. Tarzan chic.

Accessorise

Friend of Mine tank, Zara belt & shorts, Topshop sandals, Ray-Ban sunglasses

Lesson #101: don't underestimate the power of accessories.

Small details can become quite significant in providing an edgier look to your outfit, in this case - a western looking belt and polarised sunglasses are my everyday essentials this summer!

Black & a Hint of Gold

Black and a Touch of Gold

Outfit inspiration for the weekend - you can never go wrong with black and a couple of classics.

White Quest

White Quest

I am currently on a quest to find the perfect white heels.
It is so difficult to decide between open toe, closed toe, t-bars, high heel vs. low heel etc. - there are so many subtle differences that make a shoe unlike any other that it makes it 100 times harder for me to chose.
These are a few great options I have found thus far..

Day to Night with Leather Track Pants

Day to Night with Leather Track Pants

A simple way of turning your leather track pants (which we all should have by now.. Ahem!) from a day to day garment to a night time standout piece.

I have seen leather pants change from skinny to oversized, bell shaped and cropped and which ever way it goes - it always dresses up an outfit. Therefore to bring it down a notch during the day its best to accompany with a basic garment that has a twist such as a cropped length, an interesting pattern or a unique texture.

Pointy heels are edgy (literally!) and continue to come back in style time and time again. Thus I would definitely recommend to invest in both a flat and heeled pair, it adds an advantage to any outfit by looking more sophisticated and upperclass.
