Debates

It is no secret that I am a sunglasses addict, the amount that continuously multiplies in my car is unimaginable. And yet, the closest I have come to owning a leopard print pair is torte-shell. With winter around the corner I need a pair that will break apart my monotone attire. While there are many debates surrounding the leopard print, I feel like designers have it right (beginning with Karen Walker) it is a statement maker. If you are, too, debating over a pair I have made it a whole lot easier to choose:

Irresistible


Alexander Wang Aminata Heels



As the title suggests, I simply could not resist getting my hands on these babies.

I first laid eyes on these Alexander Wang lizard heels when Rihanna wore them here, it was love at first sight. I adore the classic touch of the croc texture as well as the added bulk to the heel. The ankle straps magnify its versatility and scream couture. To sum up - I cannot contain my excitement!!

Double Knit






Sportsgirl beanie & sweater, Helmut Lang skirt, Wittner heels 


Double knitting on a cold yet sunny day was the way to go to a lunch in Brighton. This cute knit with zip detail is so warm - it kept me distracted from my freezing bare legs! The leather heels are my first (and not last) pair of Wittner shoes, which I have to admit are not only beautifully constructed but are very comfortable. Ultimately I have realised that autumn does not constrict me of wearing my favourite mini / midi skirts, as long as the rest of my outfit is relatively warm, which I am very pleased about!

I was lucky enough to stumble upon this pastel coloured fence that complimented my attire while stumbling streets together with my no. 1 photographer Eddie New.

Smooth Criminal




Helmut Lang jacket, T by Alexander Wang tank (worn underneath), Joe's Jeans denim, Sam Edelman heels, Ray-Ban sunglasses


For some reason sleek hair and a sharp looking jacket can provide the look of sophistication whilst remaining rather 'smooth'. I decided to keep this outfit casual chic, having a go at an 'in-betweener' boyfriend jeans (I'm not quite there yet.. I love my skinnies too much) together with heels and this beautiful Helmut Lang piece I have become accustomed to wearing on a daily basis.

For those who know me it is no surprise that I got "yet another" Clare Vivier clutch. These little beauties are so easy to carry, the soft leather and sleek lines add a lot of character and the colour attached a vibe to this piece.

Movie Night


Friend of Mine blazer, T by Alexander Wang tank, Oneteaspoon shorts, Elizabeth and James glasses



With Melbourne almost exploding with heat, you're probably thinking - what is she doing wearing a blazer?!

Well my fellow fashionistas, let me assure you that this Cadillac blazer from Friend of Mine is 'breathable' as they say, as it is made of silk (plus is gets super cold at the movies - so you cannot blame me for that!). Also I love the length - it is slightly longer than your average blazer which provides the body with a slimmer appearance at the same time as being able to wear your oversized tops without it having to pop underneath the blazer looking funny. 

Overall my thought process was to provide a casual outfit with a professional-look twist (the glasses have an effect too no?) and this new blazer of mine was the perfect choice!

Finally another post you must think.. I've been having a super busy schedule recently with work / interning and since its a long weekend I found some time to show you my latest (very out there with the colour) purchase.

FYI my closet mainly consists of basics and garments ranging within the palette of black / grey / white, so wearing this pop out red dress was a new experience.

This cute little mini dress by fashion label 'Friend of Mine' (which is also where i am interning at the moment) was my first choice on this hot day in Melbourne.. Not that I'm complaining!

Blue

T-by Alexander Wang sweater, Samantha Wills ring, OPI nailpolish


So several posts back I was lusting all that is blue and at last I received my long awaited T-by Alexander Wang sweater which fitted perfectly with my new 'present-my-self' Samantha Wills Safari Nights ring. Cannot get enough of Samantha's jewellery - I have quite a collection at the moment. I can always find unique pieces within her designs, very refreshing!

Got to love receiving parcels when I'm sitting at home the entire day studying for exams.. Turns the day around in a matter of seconds! :)

Wedge Fetish

Got these sexy wedges on Ebay and been wearing them everyday! Best investment this month, especially due to the unpredictable Melbourne weather - these babies work it in both in heat and cold :)

Today's sunshine was very deceiving to the point where i had to change my outfits 3 times! It was somewhat cold in the morning then it got warmer and then freezinggg! I want it to be summer already :(
This is my new Topshop jumper - it's so warm and cozy i can see myself wearing it 24/7 around the house. Other than that just trying to get uni work out of the way / find a job / start running with the dog daily
Ahh.. life's tough :P

The Box



I get so excited everytime i see this wooden box as it means i own an amazing piece of jewelry of Samantha Wills. This week I had received these earrings - did not take them off yesterday or today, i'm in love!



Had the absolute best time with my bf this weekend as i took him on a surprise venture, here's a sneak peak of our hotel (more photos will come soon!):

Birthday fever

First off, wishing my darling boyfriend a HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Had a great day spending time with him and his family. Last night was great, went out for dinner with his close friends to Tokyo Teppenaki then out to the Royal Saxon.



Unfortunately i forgot my camera, however i took some shots of what i was wearing today, anddd.. still really excited about my Mimco earrings so i put up a photo with me wearing them anyway for your viewing pleasure
